Lots of Blabby stuff to talk about

It's been a fairly relaxing 48-hours. Got paid for a job that was a little over due and will be recieving some money in the next week as well, so it looks like a fairly secure Ramadan season. Managed to ensure that some of the personal debts in the last months were paid off and somehow when that happens, I find that my luck moves in better directions.

Friday's interview with the Straits Times Money Section and GE Commercial Finance went fairly well. Reporter felt he had some materials on hand to write a story but will have to talk some of our competitors. Guess this is the free market and at the end of the day, I just got let the reporter do his job. But Insh Allah, he will do GECF a good turn and that should help my relationship with them.

Told the reporter about Fabulous Tan and he was enchanged by the idea of an Indoor Tanning Salon in Singapore - so guess what, I'm working on linking the two parties up. Once that gets done, Richard, Fab Tan's boss will be happy! Richard is a nice guy - quiet and happy go-lucky guy who seems to surround himself with beautiful people but is himself and exceedingly down to earth guy - even if he is the owner of a sun tan studio in Singapore.

Last week was spent housesitting for a friend. Managed to get along quite well with his cat. Tommy, as the cat was called, seemed to take great joy in jumping on the desk and plonking himself infront of the computer whenever I was using it and he didn't approve of me shutting doors on him. However, he was quite nice to me and helped make sure that housesitting was a fairly pleasent expience.

Managed to get a few more friends to link to me on Facebook, the latest networking site. Have seen quite a few old school chums photos. Its tempting to think - "God, you've grown," but then again, I'm forced to bite my tounge. After all, they're all doing very well in their respective careers while I spend my time walking about in hospitals and army camps. Anyway, thanks to the internet, its possible to keep in touch with friends that one has not seen in over a decade. It's amazing how time flies.
