It's the last weekday before Christmas and I made a final attempt to pass out some cards to a few people before going back into a daily routine of trying to get a bit of email bashing, phone conversations and story pitching. Life it seems is rather ordinary,
Had one of our usual 3-hour lunches with Hadi at the Marina Mandarin. Hadi, as Uncle Adrian said, is my eating buddy. Whenever we hang out, life evolves around the search for decent food. Food is a social pleasure and so much more enjoyable when you have someone who shares the same pleasure. Lunch was particularly good today. The blue cheese on offer was especially good - the cheese had matured to a very tasty state. - Now the only thing I need to find is Finnish Blue Cheese, something which I really enjoyed in the two summers that I spent in the Finnish countryside.
Anyway life is proceeding as normal. Got paid for the Telcom 1515 job today and so I paid off an installment on the water filter I've bought for the house and have replenished the savings level that I had. So now it's back to having to get hold of $1,100 to make my savings target. Will need to find the cash within the week to make the target. If not, I should make it within the week, I'll try but if not, I should make it sometime next year.
Next year's aims will be pretty much the same I think. Building cash flows and paying down the debts of a rather mispent youth. Somehow, the next idea is to move onto building risidule income or money that I don't actually have to work for. Not sure how I'm going to do it but somehow I think I'll manage.
